    Our second PSHCEE drop down day proved to be a massive success. On Wednesday 29 November, each year group participated in a day of off-timetable activities aimed at enriching their personal, social, health, citizenship and economic education and embedding the values of the Aspirations Trust through assemblies, activities, visiting speakers and off-site opportunities.   • Raising money for Alec

    Raising money for Alec

    Lily and Mia will be shaving their hair at school to raise money for Alec, a family friend, who has the life ending illness Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). They are hoping to raise £1000 to go towards buying Alec a ceiling hoist to help Alec become more independent and less reliant on his parents. Read more

    Dogs for Good

    Mrs Ingham's Year 8 Ethics class are currently working on a community project focussing on the work of the local charity, Dogs For Good. We were lucky enough to have a visit this week from Dr Brodey and her dog Sheila. Dr Brodey is a dog socialiser and also one of our science teachers! Sheila is only a puppy but in a year's time will go off to work for Dogs For Good. Read more

    We launched the Capella Cafe with a cake and hot chocolate sale. Amazingly the event raised £117 (and rising); monies which will be used to support SEND students to do their Duke of Edinburgh's bronze award. This is truly evidence of our three guiding principles in action. Read more
